ok... i was gonna update from DGTC yesterday, but it got hectic, per usual. ran the 8 1/2 x 11 show, then the DATING GAME show by a singles goup... they booked the whole theater for 40 people to show up.
we had to turn some reg. folks away... so that was a bit sad for them. but Kat said that she thought we'd be getting more $$ for this gig then the $20 i'd normally make. so yay for that. gonna finsih my taxes tomorrow. i think i am getting about $600 from the gov't. still haveta do my state taxes. man oh man could i use that money. get a car stereo, tune-up, pay brooks back about $100 or so, against what i owe him for the loan so's i could move to this place last year.
speaking of 'this place' i need to contact my landlords again. carpet's never smelled right after the livingroom ceiling fell in and and rained on it, but now Nia's made a comment, so i'll pester them to replace it. as well as fix shower leak and i think the kitchen sink needs a new washer to be put in.
Nia's moved in some more, i made us thai noodles w/ chicken/veg dumplings. didn't turn out too bad, the fresh cilantro helped a bunch. she said she'd buy food and make bunches for both of us. that's pretty nifty. she's nice. i feel bad tho, a fuse went out and killed her two fish. one of which she'd had for 3 years, so i feel terrible about that. not that the fuse electrfied her fishes, but it stopped her heater/air pump. i will say, it's inspired me to not get fish, per se, but to get on rob our landlord about fixing more stuff around here. putting carpet into my room... recarpeting the living room she said it cost her about $95 for a room of carpet...so he should be able to afford it soon. she also said she'd give me $200 for rent and util for Feb. whoo hoo. won't get that til this weekend, but i should could use it.
