recent ME news:
been cleanin' my house so's my roomate, who moves in today will have a nice place to live, and it will feel comfy to him. his name's steve, and he's movinge here from sarasota. he went to Ringling School of Art and Design w/ a guy i work w/ at Sevananda Co-Op. he will be bringing w/ him somewhere between 150-200 scorpions, spiders and madagascar hissing cockroaches.
whoo hoo!
i am actually really down w/ the idea of having a burgler-proof house. seriously. this guy will be living in the front room w/ all the bugs.
other then going to NY last week, which was a nice vacation w/ aunt mary, jerry, grandma, jerry's parents and my cousin john and mike, and mike's wife, nga and thier new baby even. ....we went to the andirondack mountains where my aunt had rented a PHAT house w/ 5 bedrooms, and more importantly... 5 bathrooms!
was there about 5 days, really nice to chill in some beautiful country.
anyway... working, watching Lord of the Rings a fair amount since i got it this week... cleaning house, rearranging furniture at odd hours in the night (thanks to Ann's dumb 'furniture-gene') and generally going thru my life being pretty happy and upbeat. now i am watching one of my cats scurrying around the bedroom chasing a small moth, it's so cute, that whole life-and-death struggle...

anyway... today was the anniversary of nagasaki's bombing. nothing was said at all in the lame AJC newspaper. tuesday was hiroshima. let's not forget.
