so it turns out, as i've thought...THE THING holds up. fuuuuuck is that a cool/scary film. I first saw it when I was like 12 or so, at the Garden Drive-In in St Petersburg Florida. now it's a wal-mart. fucking figures. seriously... the place where I saw Phantasm, American Werewolf in London, and more ... a wal-mart.

i am too into the extra's on THE THING to post more. will do so tomorrow. hopefully. bowling's at 8 agains the Centre for Puppetry Arts. them vs us ( us= dad's garage crew)
tuesday starts my part in rehersal for ARCHIE'S WIERD FANTASY at the gay-rage.... Jennah asked me to ASM the show. this means, however, that i have to got to FLA to see mi familia on the weekend of the 21'st . so i get to see grandma early, that's good. and now i have... wait for it... A NEW CD PLAYER IN THE CAR! after a year and a half of a crappy radio plugged into my lighter, i have a REAL cd player. it's a swoopy sony flip-down face w/ a remote control. those who know brooks, may know how i used to mock him for having one. well heck, i give in. they're swell. now i have one.
yay. ... really... going now... it's midnight, and i have to be at work at 8:30 and jacob has to get a pic of me for the co-options for my board of director's pic. more on that later.
